Configuration Management Analyst
Introduction
Manage global engineering product data and processes. Serve as a key player in our global management of cross-functional coordination to ensure highly precise and accurate product data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with an ability for high-quality communication and collaboration with a globally diverse team. He or she is intellectually curious and is an analytical thinker. The Configuration Management Analyst is a highly collaborative person, working closely with individuals across the entire global enterprise specifically with our R&D Engineering, Product, and Supply Chain teams.Major Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for configuration entries into Windchill in support of high-volume, high-mix operations annually
Ability to author andsupport change requests as it relates to engineering and product management changes
Understanding in maintainingaccurate accounting and status of requirements as they impact multiple organizations
Create, coordinate, and maintain standard operating procedures for ensuring necessary, accurate, and robust product data generation
Use reporting tools to create automated checks and health dashboard
Communicate and coordinate effectively with teammates, engineering, product managers, and support functions to ensure timelycompleteness
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks without jeopardizing deadlines and accuracy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understand Configuration Management discipline and requirements
Product Life-cycle Management/Product Data Management (PLM/PDM)Database expertise (particularly in PTC Windchill)
Familiar with engineering and manufacturing release process and procedures
Product Bill of Material (BOM) management experience
Executing Engineering Change Requests/Notifications (ECO/ECN)
Assembling and leading global, cross-functional team meetings to execute SKU (Stock Kitting Unit) BOM reviews and SKU setup discussions
Knowledge of Oracle and processing requisitions
Team player looking to improve processes and play an integral role in successful global launches and initiatives
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams across the globe
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Must have strong organizational skills, be very detail-oriented, and mission-accomplish focused
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering,analytical, or related quantitative field
2 – 4 years of industry experience
