iRobot is in search of a Sales Operations Specialist. The selected candidate will report to Japan Sales Operations Manager. The Sales Operations Specialist will support the delivery of iRobot's company-wide objectives and customer order management activities including logistics coordination. This is an exciting, dynamic role in which you will work across all internal departments in iRobot and external customers and partners.
An ideal candidate will have a business degree, such as supply chain management, marketing, accounting and data analytics. Strong business acumen and communication skills are must to maintain order management co-working with related internal/external persons.

Essential Functions/ Job Duties:

  • Work closely with key account managers and field sales teams to handle customer orders with  correct quantity & quality of shipment is delivered to the customer, every time
  • Provide customized analytical order report and drive order fulfillment to achieve the quarterly sales targets for the business
  • Conduct RMA process with warehouse and handle credit note with Accounting team.
  • Manage 3PL warehouse operations including price negotiation and process reengineering
  • Lead and enhance standard operational procedures to follow SOX and iRobot policy adherence
  • Develop optimized business processes to enhance productivity and efficiency. Conduct Kaizen meetings with internal team staff and external partners.
  • Develop the data & analytics to measure business performance for Sales Operations


  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 3 years of commercial process or supply chain experience
  • Forecasting and supplier management experience preferred
  • Positive and energetic team player with strong cross-functional team experience
  • Prefer written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Excellent command of computer skills and ERP experience prefer       
  • Quantitative analytical skills with the ability to identify, interpret and resolve unstructured problems
  • Constructive & collaborative approach to solve the problems                             
  • Strategic & operational capability to develop & execute regional supply chain planning               
  • Must be willing to travel internationally and domestically about 15% of the time
