iRobot is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and resourceful Sales Manager to join our team and drive profitable sales growth in key channels including Lowe’s, Home Depot, Kohl’s, dealers managed through distribution, and new business development.

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with key partners, and achieving sales targets. This individual must possess a business owner mentality, have strong organizational skills and follow-through along with an extensive knowledge of the levers, actions or investments that drive conversion. A critical part of the role will also be developing additional revenue opportunities by identifying and targeting new channels, verticals, and partnerships. Both aspects of the territory will demand creativity, resourcefulness, and tenacity.

A successful candidate can work well cross-functionally to accomplish goals, possesses strong analytical skills to reach data-based decisions, and can achieve sell-in, sell-thru and margin goals. The ability to communicate and present professionally is necessary.

What You Will Do:

·Explore and develop new opportunities for growth within and beyond the existing portfolio

·Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets within assigned territory

·Deliver monthly and quarterly revenue, unit, and product margin targets for your portfolio

·Clearly communicate progress on monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders, with insight to opportunities and risks

·Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, strategic sales, and customer service to support sales initiatives and drive retailer satisfaction

·Develop strategic retailer relationships, facilitating growth and strong partnerships

·Analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to accurately forecast territory sell-in and sell-thru

·Negotiate vendor agreements, pricing, and terms with accounts to maximize revenue and profitability

·Execute promotional and product launch strategies that provide the best ROI and maximize exposure and conversion

·Work cross-functionally with Channel Marketing, Business Planning and Sales Operations toward mutual goals

·Serve as the primary point of contact for your territory with your retailers and within iRobot

To Be Successful You Will Have:

·6-8 years of experience delivering revenue and margin targets in the CE / hardlines industry

·Proven track record of securing new channels of business and incremental partnerships

·The ability to plan and implement an online digital marketing sales strategy

·Proficiency in Search Engine Optimization inclusive of content, keyword research, and analytics

·A strong “hunter” mindset and the persistence to identify and close new business opportunities

·Experience with a distribution model (Synnex a plus)

·Experience owning and accurately forecasting unit demand and revenue performance

·Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth

·Ability to negotiate program, placements and promotions aligned to the company’s interests

·Financial acumen and analytical skills related to retailer metrics, profitability, and ROI

·An ability to collaborate and build relationships with professionals at all organizational levels

·Purposeful with a keen sense of accountability and ownership

·English language fluency

·Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, advanced proficiency in Excel

·Ability to support limited travel

·Bachelor’s degree required
