Introduction
Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Analyst to drive the eCommerce business. The position collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and demand planning teams to gather relevant data and insights. The position is primary responsibility for commercial and financial analysis, forecasting, and providing strategic insight to commercial teams.Responsibilities
- eCommerce business includes DTC business (iRobot store, Rakuten, Yahoo!), Amazon and subscription business (Robot Smart Plan at Rentio and kikito).
- Develop accurate sales forecasts for all product lines, including sell-in / sell-through units, gross revenue, net revenue.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and demand planning teams to gather relevant data and insights, as well as align initiatives/activities/supply needed to realize the sales forecasts.
- Organize the constructive collaboration conflict management committee to drive the business with a meaningful channel mix across eCommerce and Retail.
- Track the actual sales data and deploy PDCA cycle to make sure that the execution is professionally managed.
- Monitor and report on sales performance against forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. In case of the forecast, reinforce the business maximization plan. In case of off track against the forecast, initiate the development of sales recovery actions.
- Prepare and present the sales strategies, sales forecast, and action plan report to senior management every week.
- Continuously pursue the possibilities to improve forecasting processes and methodologies.
- Develop and train the analyst to increase his/her job scope, capacity, and capabilities.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proven experience (+5 years) eCommerce business from a medium to large consumer goods Company
- Strong analytical expertise
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset
- Strong communication/ presentation skills
