Introduction
iRobot is looking for an Associate Product Marketing Manager for a 6-month contract with opportunity to convert permanent, who is passionate about understanding customers and what makes them tick. Who understands how to execute go-to-market strategies based upon insights that drive measurable success. Who understands the role packaging plays in the shopper journey and how it influences customer decision making. Who cultivates partnerships across teams and understands the impact of collaborative work.Our ideal candidate is a dynamic, organized self-starter with product marketing and packaging knowledge, effective communication skills, creative problem solving, attention to detail and high accountability.
As a member of the Global Product Marketing Team, you will be responsible for new and sustaining go-to-market global launch activities and the creation and maintenance of packaging carton art.
What You Will Do:
PMK Accountabilities:
- Supports go-to-market and readiness activities, including developing and supporting product launch materials, and briefs.
- Ensures cohesion across the customer journey, product strategy and master brand.
Packaging Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the daily functions of product packaging carton art, including developing and maintaining carton art files for all new and sustaining products and accessories.
- Accurately reviews, signs off on, uploads, releases, and maintains packaging files and details within existing systems.
- Collaborates with Legal team, Compliance team, and Product team to ensure correct information is represented on carton art.
Shared Accountabilities:
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand and gain alignment on asset needs.
- Reviews and provides feedback on assets to ensure they are consistent with overall product strategy.
- Collaborates with Legal team to ensure claims are substantiated and assets are approved.
- Collaborates with Consumer Insights team to support research initiatives.
- Works with internal and external agencies to manage the day-to-day project workflow. Creates, coordinates, and maintains project timelines.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Strong organizational skills, very detail-oriented, and mission-accomplish focused.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines and shift gears easily.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams across the globe.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of digital project management tools (e.g., Workfront), Windchill, Jira, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
